Coaters

Henderson Engineering are able to offer a wide range of coating and impregnating machines. The range includes Knife over roll coaters, Reverse roll coaters, Gravure coaters, Air knife coaters and Meyer bar coaters, all custom designed and built to suit the customers requirements. In all instances the machines are designed and built using well known basic techniques, but in most cases they are adapted for the particular process they are to be engaged upon.

• Reel to reel coating/laminating line incorporating gravure and meyer bar techniques for aqueous based coatings. Web width - 750/1500mm. Speed 150 m/min.
• 3 roll reverse roll coater for high speed precision coating of vinyl polymers onto paper substrate. Web widths - various up to1700mm wide. Max speed 250 m/min.
• 4 roll precision coater for the very accurate coating of slurries or pastes. Max web width 400mm, max speed 1m/min
• Knife over roll flexibeam coater for the accurate coating of rubber polymers. The machine includes digital readout of gap settings from transducers fitted at each side. Gap variation is displayed in increments of 0.01mm.
